Iaito - Sadamune

The Sadamune is characterized by a double Hi (hollow)!! Hence the weight is only 950 gram at 2,60 Sahku. The blade is a perfect combination of weight and fair balance. In conjunction with the high-value quality of the blade of special hardened aluminum alloy the Iaito conveys a specially coherent sentience at the sword handle.

One tries to succeed an Iaito, which takes after a forged sword. Thus, the blade has a special grinding, which looks like a Notare Hamon ("large wave"). The exceptional sound of the blade is indescribably. You have not to be sentimental to be awesome, if the blade cuts the air with its specially calm and deep voice.






Likewise the simple design of the Fuchi and Kashira is appropriate. The Saya has a Kojiri finish of blacken iron. The Sageo is specially long and rough plaited. I am very proud to be able to offer the Sadamune.
