The pine plays a special role in the japanese art, culture and aesthetic. Especially images of pines, which are marked by the power of nature and although even alive on sparse rocks, are found in many places. This motif accesses to the figurative world of the Zen and Bushido. Also in the Bonsai art the pine carries weight. Our Higo Takanami often takes brillantly this motif on. In our opinion the design is unexcelled und creates a sword with a special appearance.

The high-value Sukashi iron Tsuba is manufactured in filigree detail.The Menuki expresses the typical image of a pine in the japanese culture („cripple pine“). Fuchi and Kashira symbolize rocks. So both elements together result in a harmonious unity.
