The Hakama sizes apply to Hakama for
men with a length which range to the ankles and is flush tied with
the Obi. However the Hakama Basic Line is cut up to the sole of foot.
The length difference between these sizes is 4cm.

Who wants to fold in the Hakama cuff behind the Obi should order one size larger.

Cotton Hakama should also be ordered
one number larger because they shrink during washing.

Because women usually tie the Hakama above the pelvis, they need from one to two numbers larger.

At Budoka with a larger abdominal girth the necessary size depends on whether the Hakama is tied above or under the abdomen approach.
